These standards were developed by the SAE G-22 Aerospace Engine Supplier Quality Committee. G-22 was formed to develop, specify, maintain, and promote quality standards specific to the aerospace engine supply chain. G-22's objective is to reduce customer-specific (OEM) requirements through a focused set of standards that integrate industry best practice and aerospace engine unique elements.
